Guitar and ukulele are taught by Bonnie Kay, Ferncourt’s music teacher.

This group is open to anyone who wants to learn ukulele or can already play.

Students wishing to play guitar in this group must be also receiving lessons with a teacher who can help them learn the repertoire, as guitar is a much more complex instrument and there isn't enough time to teach children how to play it.

Students must provide their own guitar.
Students can try out the school ukuleles while we rehearse at lunch for the first month but will have to buy their own ukulele if they want to join the group so they can practice at home.

This group rehearses in the first half of lunch according to Ms Kay’s schedule.
Performances
Performances
Guitar group will be able to perform at school assemblies and school events.
Cost
Cost
There is no cost other than purchase of a guitar or ukulele.
