VOLUNTEER ON THE DAY
The community can’t pull this off without a contribution, no matter how small, from everyone. We ask that everyone volunteers on a stall for at least 2 hours and bake a cake or donate a chutney or jam.
INVITE 2-3 FAMILIES
Reach out to your neighbours and friends, both local and further afield. The fair is an an amazing day out and it feels great to be a part of it. We need people to come along and enjoy the day to truly make it a success!
It’s our main fundraising event and only happens once every few years. Making it a success is so important to the P&C’s ongoing support of the School Community
Our Fair is about making great memories for our kids and creating a landmark event in their Primary School years that they can enjoy, feel proud of and look back on
The Fair brings our community together. It’s rewarding to feel part of something so important to our school, whether you volunteer on the book stall, bake a cake or donate clothes for the second hand boutique, it all counts
As always, the underlying theme of the Ferncourt Family Fair is team work! If you can spare a few hours to help with set up, on a stall during the day or when we pack up afterwards we wopuld love some more volunteers. Email ferncourtfair@gmail.com.
It's time to get your Marie Kondo on! The fair relies on donations from the community for a number of the stalls. There will be a collection day in the school hall in the lead up to the day for the following items:
• Books
• 2nd hand kids clothing
• White Elephant (toys, curios, bric-a-brac, art etc)
• Up-market 2nd hand clothing
We aim to sell great quality goods on our stalls so we can raise as much money as possible for our efforts and maintain the amazing standing and reputation we have in the community. We love toys, clothes and other items that are in great condition and working order. Please note we can't accept electrical items, soft toys, tools or items that are broken, even if they can be fixed. It may not 'spark joy' in you anymore but it should still have the potential to do that for someone else :)
A number of stalls run on donations from local businesses. If you have any contacts for the following items, please let us know:
• Food and drinks for all our stalls
• Beer , wine, chocolates for the hampers
• Prizes for the chocolate wheel
• Silent auction items
Again, we will invite local businesses to sponsor the event. If you have any contacts or recommendations please email us ferncourtfair@gmail.com
