Bands & Strings & other noisemakers...
Ferncourt bands are run by a group of volunteers who are parents on the P&C. They work hard in their spare time to make our wonderful band program happen.
Ferncourt has two bands. The Concert Band is made up of students who are in their second or subsequent year of band membership. The Training Band is for students from year 3 and above, with little or no experience of playing an instrument in a band.
The instruments in our bands comprise brass, wind instruments and percussion. These include flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, trumpet, french horn, low brass (trombone, baritone and tuba) and percussion including drum kit.

Our bands...
Ferncourt has three bands.
